I am looking to build a system that will get 80+fps on bf4, and other similar, graphics intensive games. I want this PC to last a while, and I have a $3000 budget. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Do not get an i7-4930k. It is a complete waste of money for battlefield. Even an i7-4770k is more than what the game will use. A 780Ti is massive overkill for gaming. A single GTX 770 is more than required to play battlefield on ultra on one monitor with 70+ FPS.

What I recommend:
i7-4770k
Asus Maximus VI Hero
Samsung 840 EVO 120Gb
WD Caviar Black 1 TB
EVGA GTX 770 W/ ACX cooler 2Gb
Corsair H105
CM Storm Stryker
Corsair TX 750 Watt v2
Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3-1866MHz CAS 9

This build will be below 2000 USD.

Solution
Take the extra grand and invest in some sweet peripherals. A nice gaming, led keyboard, good mouse, controller or two if you like, an ssd, and extra 2tb hard drive to dump fraps videos on(if you record), some cyborg gaming lights (they're super kewl)... Maybe a fancy chair? lol...

Point is never squander a bloated budget, mix it around and look for other ways to spruce up your experience beyond raw power. Some extra input devices, peripherals, flash drives, perhaps an extra monitor or two... Maybe some specialized gaming stuff even, such as racewheels or flight sim controls, if you play those genres.
