Hello,

What does killswitch really mean? I can not find a simple explonation on google

It usually refers to a switch which simply stops a thing, no matter if it's clean stop or not.
In case of electrical applications, it usually just cuts power.
In case of programs/apps, it simply terminates them.

It is usually used as last means of stopping something that should stop, right now. (like your hand went between a belt on electric motor) or piece of software that refuses to exit normally (close button on windows)
