Question What is making my FPS low.

So I have a 3060 graphics card which I thought was what made fps good. I play games like elden ring and when running round, my FPS drops to around 30. Im wondering what I need to fix it or what other parts I need to upgrade.

Low graphics in the game if that's what you mean. Still I thought my graphics card would be able to run it well on atleast medium or high.

Rdr2 with high graphics gets me 50 fps

Type your full pc build. Edit: just saw you kinda posted it
When you installed 3060 did you clean up old drivers from the previous gpu using DDU. Update new drivers
I am not playing that game, check on yt if there are certain settings that need to be turned of.
Your GPU and CPU temperature while gaming?
What resolution do you play on?
How is the FPS in other games that you play? If normal, good it means that your gpu and cpu are okay.
