Can someone explain mouse acceleration to me?
As a gamer many people complain about it. I have been gaming for years and especially on first person shooters. I have never had a problem aiming...
Apparently there are 2 ways to change it in Windows 7.
- Turning off the pointer precision in mouse settings.
- Going to Ease of Access Center - Set Up Mouse Keys - lowering the acceleration.
but what are these so game breaking? Why haven't they bothered me?
What does the ACCELERATION to do the game.
I use an MX518 mouse and 800 DPI. My mouse has 3 settings, 400 (way to slow), 800 (good), 1600 (way to fast).
