I have an Asus P4C800 delux. One of the BIOS chipset options is to set the MPS revision to 1.1 or 1.4. The default is 1.1. SiSoft Sandra recommends 1.4. What does MPS stand for and what setting is recommended?

Use 1.4 if your OS is W2k or XP.
Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
Thanks. Looking at the link you included it may be worth going to the 1.4 specification as there should be more PCI bus control options available and improved expandability. Not a given that they will be useful but probably would not hurt to have access to them.
