Greetings,
I have a Gateway machine I bought a few years ago. It's a dual 450 P3 (coppermine) w/Tyan mainboard. Although I've played with plenty of old (AT based) hardware I'm not well educated on more recent developments. I'd like to find out what model this board is, maybe upgrade the BIOS and CPUs, yet other than disassembling the thing and scanning for print on the board I have no clue as to how I can find out. My question: Is there a utility out there I can use to get copious info on the board including make/model? I have 3 oss on the machine: linux, win2k, and winxp so I can run it on any of these.
Thank you,
-zeek
