My pc is stuttering very hard in PUBG on some spots on the map, especially when i am in the parachute phase. My cpu is the xeon x3470 and my gpu is the rx 460 2gb.

I play battlefield 1 on high settings with stable 55-60 fps(single player).

Is my cpu weak for that game or just the games is unoptimized as hell? I have everything on very low and my vram is still ~ 1900 -1940 mb of usage. My gpu is always 100% usage.

Also always when i exit game for a while my pc is slow and the HDD is 100% of ussage. My pc specs can be found here

Here is a gameplay video on my pc:

I'm not going to comment too much on your rig other than to say it does have pretty low single thread performance (like a slow core i7 920) and the 460 is not exactly a AAA gaming card for higher settings.

What I will say about PUBG though. It is buggy. If you have Chrome running or even tab out of game start chrome and close it it will do what your video did. If you have network latency it will do what your video did. I don't want to condemn your machine as I've found PUBG quite playable on rigs from G4560 with GTX 970 up to 7700K with 1070 and R5 1600 with 980. But you have to be aware of the glitches and bugs in the game and not run anything beyond skype or discord outside of it...it hates other programs.

Fortnite's minimum system requirements are well below what PUBG requires. Not really in the same ballpark actually; PUBG can't possibly be "optimized" to run like Fortnite.

I don't know if it can be optimized like fortnite but it is surely possible to get better optimized, as i said it is only using 50% of my cpu

But what we're trying to tell you is that your cpu is old. Its not going to get better. Maybe marginally better at best. You're trying to run a modern game on a cpu from 2009. Even the AMD FX line of cpus are newer than your xeon.

PUBG is still a Beta game at best. It's really amazing how popular such a poorly made game is. It should be optimizable to the fortnite level...obviously not on the same hardware but min spec hardware should run it as well as min spec fortnite hardware runs fortnite.

The net code is trash, the high ping peeker's advantage is the worst of any game I've played (Seriously always attack never post up and defend you will do better), the game crashes seemingly randomly, the other software running killing frame rates bug still exists and my favorite is now when you crash in the drivers seat it floors the car effectively driving flat out in a straight line until you kill your own squad by driving off a cliff while you get immunity and re-connect to a pissed off dead squad. The new map is a bit better performance wise but even the best performing rigs (7700Ks for this game) with 1080s often get below 60FPS and sometimes stutter down to the 20s. The game has somehow gotten the atmosphere so right that people are willing to overlook how bad it really is; if Battlefield or something similar (with way better graphics by the way) ran this poorly it would be crucified.

I love PUBG but anyone claiming it is well programmed is delusional.

yes and 2gb VRAM is very little to play this game even on very low settings. It is also vram hungry and that is why it is stuttering my pc
