I just went TV shopping and settled on the Vizio 55" 4k tv (specifically the D55-E0) for the combination of price and features. but when looking at their website, I noticed that they advertise the unit as having " V8 Octa-Core Processor " (yeah, I rolled my eyes, while being somewhat intrigued) and a quad core GPU (wait my tv actually has a GPU too?).
Now, I'm under no illusion this is any kind of powerful, compared to any (desktop or laptop) computer processing power, and I'm imagining some kind of ARM processor. But, does anyone know what specific "V8 Octa-core" CPU and Quad core GPU they might be using in this theoretically computationally heavy beast machine of a tv?
