What is the best 980ti for Overclocking?

Solution
Alot of cards have the ability to overclock, just some have extra benefits that help like higher power phases and binned chips, good coolers etc. I purchased my Kingpins for that sole reason, its meant to be overclocked and theres no point in buying one (or 2) if your not planning on it. However, just a heads up, Maxwell cards are very sensitive to heat and will not produce good overclocks if you dont have the airflow to keep it cool. My kingpins need to be kept at 55-65C to obtain the max overclock on air! I can reach 1550Mhz Core clock and 8200Mhz memory on air, not many cards can say the same. But not too discredit other 980TI offerings, if you really want to overclock well, look at a card that has watercooling like the Hybrid or...
No great answer. Depends on the silicone, which is something you can't control. Good cooling solution helps, as does a bios that has some flexibility in voltage, but the big issue is the quality of the chip. Asus has a card that might be the best(has the best clock from the factory), https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-matrixgtx980tip6gd5gaming. Gigabyte's gaming card appears to have a great cooling solution, and has their top binned chips(which is what you're after) https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn98txtreme6gd. And lastly, evga has good cards too https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-06gp45998kr.
*shrug* Take your pick.

They will net you a good overclock and theyre some great cards too!
