I am looking for cheap yet powerful PC parts to build myself a gaming PC under £1K that can run games like DOOM Eternal smoothly.

Do you also need a monitor and perihperals?
How much storage do you need?
Do you only do gaming or some other productivity stuff?

Yes, sorry.
I need a monitor. Let's just say a 13inch one.
And storage of 1TB.

And yes, it's gonna be purely for gaming.

I would think that you would want to consider at least a 19" monitor or better.

If I were going to build a PC for that budget and game as the only considerations I would likely base it around an R5 3600/1660ti or 5700-ish level GPU, NVME, RM650, G SKill 3600MHz DDR4, probably would go 550 level or better mobo for (hopeful) future upgradability....
