I'd like to upgrade my graphics, so I'd like to know what would be the best option
Pegatron Corporation 2AB6 has a DDR3 slot and PCIE 2.0 x 16

I've seen people talking about using GTX 660 but I checked this one is DDR5, how could be this possible?

I was considering to use a ZOTAC GT 730 4GB DDR3 graphic card, my current graphics has only 512 mb, so I think is a good option, but maybe there'd be another one better

What is the make and model of the PSU in your build? Looking up the motherboard on Google image search, it looks like an HP prebuilt's motherboard, what is the model/SKU to your HP prebuilt? Apart from the PSU, you might run into clearance issues with a small form factor chassis.

I wouldn't go above a GTX750Ti but you should keep in mind that if your motherboard does not have UEFI BIOS, then any discrete GPU with a UEFI VBIOS will most likely give you a black screen in spite of booting into the OS GUI.

I see!
My PC specifications:
HP Pavilion P7-1080LA, I think is the one you found
SKU: QN686AA
PSU 300W, but I'm sure I will upgrade it, depending on the graphic card I can upgrade to
And of course I want to change the chassis for a bigger one, depending on the graphics too, I have the hp prebuilt one

I don't know how to check if I have UEFI BIOS, how could I see that? Anyways, probably I don't have it, I can't find any BIOS update for this motherboard, I have AMI 7.13, and hp doesn't give me the last one (7.15)

Correction: my system information says I have UEFI, at least that's what I see; AMI 7.13, 05/04/2011, SMBIOS version 2.6, driver 255.255, BIOS mode UEFI

This is my pc:
https://icecat.us/es-mx/p/hp/qn686aa/pcs-estaciones-de-trabajo-Pavilion+p7-1080la-9515452.html

This is my BIOS version:
https://linux-hardware.org/?id=bios:ami-7-13-05-04-2011

And this is a site of upgrades for my pc, but I don't understand much about it:
https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=f886c11963&upgrade

I've seen people talking about using a GTX 660, but I know this one is a DDR5 graphic card, and my motherboard is DDR3, would it works? I think I would need the BIOS you mentioned, so I was considering the ZOTAC GT 730 4GB, I need help about deciding and not finally getting a black screen =(

Thank you, by the way!

The GDDR RAM in a graphics card has nothing to do with the RAM in your motherboard.

This is easy to confirm. After all, if RAM needed to match, then nobody would have been able to use any Nvidia gaming GPUs in the 400, 500, 600, 700, 900, or 10 series until July 2020, when DDR5 SDRAM was released.

Oooh, okay, so I can perfectly use a DDR5 graphic card on my pc?
So the only thing I have to worry about is my BIOS version and PSU?
How can I know if my BIOS version is able to use a graphic card an avoid a black screen?

As I mentioned before, I can't find a BIOS update for my mother board (Pegatron Corporation 2AB6, so how can I check this compatibility and look for a good graphic card?
