What is the best Graphics card for my build?

Hi, I'm going to be using an i5 4690k cpu in my build and I was wondering what graphics card I should get. I will be using a 1080p monitor so I don't want completely overkill. I have taken a look at some of the GTX's and the R9's but I'm really not sure which graphics card would be great for my build but at the same time not overkill and essentially wasting money.
