What is the best graphics card to run 1.2 display 2k / 4k monitor?

I'm trying to run this monitor: Asus 27'inch Republic of Gamers Monitor

However I read that it needs display port 1.2, my current evga gtx 770 only has display port 1, is it compatible? I was trying to do SLI by buying another 770...

If its not compatible, would 980 SLI be best or do I just get a titan?

I'm a bit confused since my understanding is that 1.2 has a higher bandwidth so that the display can be able to run at 144hz in 2k?

Your GPU does have Displayport 1.2

Really?.... where did you find that, I've looked at several listings and the specs from Nvidia, and it just says "Display Port", if not they'd mention "Display Port 1.2" like the gtx 980 series.

omg. that's great! thanks for finding that, that will save me a lot of money. Not sure why the retail sources don't make that clear.
