What is the best m.2 this mobo can handle?

I have this motherboard and i wanted to know what is the best/fastest m.2 i can get without bottle-necking it because of my older motherboard

It will run a NVMe m.2 drive at about 1/2 speed. And probably only as a secondary drive, not the boot drive.
Given that, and the near double the $$/GB price for NVMe..just get a regular SATA III 2.5" drive.

You will not notice any difference.
