I currently have an AMD A8-6600K and a discontinued GPU from AMD that i dont know the name of (just incase this is important my motherboard is a ASRock FM2A88X Extream4+) and i was wondering what can i upgrade my CPU and possibly motherboard to so i can game in Med-High setting in 1080p in 2017 i have a budget of around maybe £300 right now my computer setup is

CPU; A8-6600K
GPU: Dont know the name
RAM: 2x4Gb DDR3
PSU: 750W
Motherboard; ASRock FM2A88X Extream4+

(If im forced to i can take recommendations for different GPU/CPU's to fit my budget as all i need is something to play games in Med/High settings in 1080p in 2017)
Thanks for any help

Hello , I managed to build some budget pc's in my life, I will give you two setups one with gpu and one without :
1.With gpu : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/BLvgyf - 314 gbp
2.Without gpu : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/NTdpLD - 287 gbp

ps. I personally have pentium g4560 it's just fine for gaming thanks to it's 2 cores and 4 threads (enabled hyperthreading) , it's basicaly like i3-6100. I have tested it with 1050ti because my friend borrowed me his and it runs very nicely on all games in 1080p I highly reccomend the rig with gpu :)
most likely the last thing i will ask about but is there any chance i could use one of these cpus instead and if i can will they have a longer life than the pentium G4560 (as in i wont have to swap them for a looooong time)

Intel Xeon X3460 CPU 2.8GHz 8M Quad Core (Socket LGA1156) (found this on average around £35.96)
Intel i5 2500K Quad-Core 3.3GHz (LGA 1155) (found this on average around £61.96)

ive also heard there motherboards are going cheap around this time
