Question What is the best motherboard for gaming around $200-250? MAYBE $300 if really worth it.

I am building my first computer ever and I need help deciding on the motherboard.
These are the components I am thinking I will have so far:
Intel - Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
EVGA - GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB FTW3 ULTRA GAMING Video Card
Corsair - H115i RGB PLATINUM 97 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair - Vengeance RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
EVGA - SuperNOVA P2 850 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Samsung - 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Dell - S2417DG 23.8" 2560x1440 165 Hz Monitor
And just in case it matters, I want to get a somewhat compact mid-tower case, similar to the NZXT H500i.

Keep in mind I know very basic stuff, I'm not that knowledgeable.
I am stuck on what motherboard will be best for me.
I was thinking about the gigabyte aorus z390 ultra or pro wifi...
Or I was thinking about the Asus maxmimus XI hero...
For gigabyte I heard quality is pretty good but BIOS is trash. But that doesn't affect me too much.
For the Asus, I heard they have bad VRM's or something and heard some other negative stuff about them, but I generally think of Asus as really good quality and I like their aesthetic.
I haven't really considered other boards, because I don't know much about them and I don't know what is good.
KEEP IN MIND, I have never overclocked anything before, but I might like to learn later down the road. However, I am never going to be doing anything extreme.
So yea, please help me pick a motherboard with the best mix of quality and aesthetics for my needs around $200-300. Thank you.
Also, let me know if you have any suggestions or comments about the parts I picked too

When it comes to the MoBo, there's little to no difference when it comes to gaming. Just pick the MoBo that has all the features you need.

Also, here's further reading that should answer your question regarding best MoBo for your build,
link: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-motherboards,3984.html

Differences in chipset are: H370 (need latest BIOS + can't OC CPU), Z370 (need latest BIOS), Z390 (no handicaps).

Thank you. Not sure what features I should be looking for though... I 100% know I want the best wifi so it needs to have good wireless capabilities lol.

Each MoBo there also has a review link which you can read to know more about MoBo.

Out of the listed MoBos, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme has the best built-in wi-fi:"10GbE in addition to GbE and 1.73Gb/s Wi-Fi", but the MoBo also costs accordingly by having the latest and best features. Of course, rather than buying MoBo with built-in wi-fi, you can buy the PCI-E x1 wi-fi card to get the wi-fi for your PC.
