So. I have used cpu intel pentium g4560, and recently got another one, intel-core i5-12600. It doesn't fit my motherboard so I need another motherboard too. I need a motherboard that are compability to cpu: i5-12600 and gpu: gtx 1050 (also ddr4). I also have 450w psu, do I need more w for the new cpu and motherboard? Im not so experienced so maybe there are dumb questions, appreciate the helpers :))

Hello!

That 12th-gen Intel CPU requires a 600 or 700 chipset motherboard. At the very least you will need an H610 chipset motherboard. Be sure to find one that uses DDR4 memory so your existing RAM will work. Your 450W power supply should be fine given it is a decent quality PSU.

I'm not sure what country you are in, but here is a list of motherboards you can choose from that are sold in the US: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#mt=ddr4&sort=price&page=1

Make not of the Form Factor on that list. You will want to be sure that form factor will fit in your case.

Do you know what case you have?

Cheers!

I am in Norway btw, europe

I have tycho i517c case, and I want a z690 or z790 motherboard. There are still so many options like 790-a, 790-p, 690/790 edge. Do you know what's best?
