What is the best overclock for me?

Hello,

Is AMD OverDrive good for overclocking? I managed to disable Turbo Core Control in BIOS but I am not that talented with BIOS. I have a AMD FX8320. How much can I overclock it and what should I put my voltage on?

Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme4
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6950 2 GB
CPU: AMD FX 8320 3,5 Ghz.
PSU: CoolerMaster M520 520W

I hope u have enough information with this. I hope to be able to overclock my GPU later on aswell but I am not sure if this will be possible? Maybe that for another topic?

That motherboard is not a very strong overclocker of 125w cpus. You should be able to match FX8350 speeds(4.2ghz) but I wouldn't go much higher.

Yes you can overclock your video card. You need to be thinking about getting a better psu though.

You shouldn't have to adjust the voltage. If you do, I wouldn't go above 1.45v.

Okay, I will have to find some info about better psu's cuz I don't know much about em.

Do u think it would be smart to overclock my gpu now with this psu and overclock my cpu at the same time or would u think my psu is crap for that?

At least thats what it says on the side.

I would play it safe with that psu. There aren't any reliable reviews inline about it, and I'm unfamiliar with the company who made it. (Cooler Master does not make their own psus)
