EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GAMING is the best you can get
it is 5.7 inch longer and can handle 1080p gaming just fine at high to very high settings.
just turn off AA and v-sync

Don't know what could be in the way that an inch would kill the GPU slot.
