So I'm about to do my first build which will include a water cooling loop for the cpu and two gpu's, because I like to jump in to the deep end . My problem is that I'm going to be using 8 fans- 5 for the rads and 3 case fans- but I'm not sure how to set them all up so that they can still be controlled by the fan controller software that monitors the cpu and gpu temps. My mobo (MSI Z87 Extreme OC Flagship) only supports 3 system fans.

Would something like this work? Or would that many fans overload a single header? I could use one for each mobo header and distribute the fans accordingly.

Thanks for helping this noob builder. I've read tons of great advice on TH while doing research for this build so I know I'm in good hands.

I think maybe you misunderstood. I don't want the fans to always run at max. I want them to be able to be controlled by software. Also I forgot to mention what fan I will be using. For the rads I'm getting corsair SP120 high performance editions and for the case I will be using corsiar AF120 high performance.
