Three TVs that come to mind are:

  • LG C3
  • TCL QM8
  • Hisense U8K

The last 2 appear to support 144Hz where the LG is capped at 120. LG C4 is coming out soon but can’t afford $2700.

What are your thoughts for a gaming pc running RTX 4080 Super? Is g sync still a thing ? What’s your experience ?

How big do you need?
a LG 48" is good for a pc monitor, and fine if you are viewing TV from it on a desk.
I use the 48" C2 version and the picture is stunning.
Because the only input id HDMI, you need 2.1 capability to get 120hz.
That requires a modern graphics card and ultra high quality hdmi cables.

Do you have a graphics card and cpu capable of delivering 120fps @4k?

65” is ideal

GPU: RTX 4080 super CPU: i7 14th gen

What size?

LG G3 55" is only $1900 and considered the best by rtings.com

LG C3 is their #4 pick, 55" is $1400

G-Sync is slowly fading out in favor of Free Sync and G-Sync Compatible, so most of your high end stuff just has Free Sync Premium.

Thank you for clarifying about g sync. I checked out rtings but they usually do most of their testing with consoles, not gaming pcs
