Question What is the best upgrade to the Asus ROG Swift PG279QM in 2024?

I purchased the Asus ROG Swift PG279QM in 2022. I now need a second monitor in my setup. I'd like to just upgrade my primary and use the PG279QM as my secondary.

What would be the natural upgrade to the PG279QM mid-2024? I want to stay with Asus and I prize the great out-of-the-box color calibration. I searched on whether Asus has released a direct upgrade and could not find it.

I have the same model as I'm partnered with ROG and I think they gave me that display as a contribute to how long I've been with them. You could give OLED a try.

Just swapped my original 9 year old PG279Q for an LG Ultragear 240hz OLED.

Not seen any reviews for the ROG Strix 1440p 240hz OLED, but it is the same rough price as the LG, so presumably the same panel.

And they also have the higher end PG27AQDM, which probably matches LGs more expensive model as well.
