Hello,

Below i describe a problem i've been experiencing for a while and since i am unable to find its source, i decided to change my MoBo. If you don't want to read about the problem itself, just skip to end to provide a suggestion about the new part

THE PROBLEM

For almost a year and a half i've been working with an Asus Prime B-350 PLUS.
Since day one i've been having some visual stuttering issues while in BIOS (the mouse/display would freeze for a brief time of ~0.2 seconds every few seconds). A similar visual stutter has also been happening in Windows ( again the mouse/display would freeze 2 times in a row for a length of ~0.2 seconds but while in windows this problem appears once every 15-20 minutes).
I've tried different GPU, unplugged peripherals, checked PSU with tester under load for accurate voltages, BIOS updates, MEMTest, etc etc but the problem persists.
To my misfortune one week ago my RTX 2070 stopped working and i requested a RMA.
I know that it might be coincidental and the problem might not lie in motherboard, but i've grown sick with the above issue so i decided to change both my MoBO and PSU, just to be sure.

---------------------

So i am wondering what would be the best MoBo when it comes to VRM and overall peripheral stability. I really do not care about RGBs or fancy features but i am willing to go for an "enthusiast" piece just for the VRM/capacitors/overall quality.
I was personally thinking about Asus Rog X470-F. Do you think is a good choice?

Thanks a lot in advance

Solution
Asus Prime x470 Pro if you don't need a flashy MB, same VRM as Rog X470-F. Somewhat better VRM on ROG Crosshair VII but probaly double the price.
My 2700x is capable of running at 4.3GHz on pro and still have power to spare.
