What is the difference between VDDR5 and DDR3 on a GTX 730 as far as game performance?

I am looking at the GTX730 but have two different type of vm's, 3ddr and 5vddr. If I get the latest would work with my PC? Have some interest in PC games and want to play CoH2. Have small budget to upgrade current GPU(yeah, its a very old one).

Obviously it is old and would like to keep the MB, PSU, etc. The only requirement I need is a GPU that can work along whit the rest of the system.

Neither will have very good performance for gaming. The GDDR5 version will have 20-50% better performance, however. DDR3 will slow down a GPU significantly.

You probably already get playable performance with your HD 2400, I would save your money until you can afford a GTX 750 at the minimum-that will give you a huge performance bump over the 730 for not much more money. If you can swing it, the GTX 950 would be even better.
