What is the difference in 300MBPS and 200?

Solution
No such thing. It's like driving a Lamborghini capable of 200+ MPH but you never going faster than the speed limit. It's awesome for what you use it for, but just capable of so much more! You may decide to boost your service at some point in the future or speeds will just get faster (with future services). Your router will still be ready to rock when that time comes.

That's just the maximum capability of that particular router. It all depends on what internet service you have (what speed you pay for) and also the modem you have. For example, you may pay for a speed that is higher than your modem rating, therefore your router will not broadcast it. To cut to the chase, you should have no issues with HD/online gaming with a 200mbps router as long as everything running to the router (service and modem) are probably 15mb+

technically? M = mega, and m=milli. so, M = 1,000,000 and m = 0.001
so yeah, MASSIVE difference.

except that people are illiterate and don't bother doing things correctly, which is especially sad in tech, so the INTENT is that they're the same. just really really REALLY amazingly sloppy and reprehensible.
