I would like to upgrade my laptop from 4GB to 8GB. So, I'd better purchase the fastest memory my mainboard supports.

I have found miscellaneous sources saying that the max frequency supported by this laptop is either 1066 MHz or 1600MHz. Which one is true?
For example Crucial (official web site) sells this 8GB 1600MHz kit as being compatible with my laptop:
http://eu.crucial.com/eur/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Toshiba/qosmio-x505-q860

I have the choice of buying 8GB RAM CL11 at 1600MHz or buying 8GB CL7 at 1066.
So, which one?

Facts:
Laptop chipset is P55.
RAM speed of memory correctly installed: 1066 MHz ("wmic memorychip get speed" shows "533" which multiplied with 2 gives us indeed 1066.
Microsoft performance index for current installed RAM: 5.9 (lowest among all my components)

Many thanks.

PS: for those that want to do the same upgrade, note that the laptop supports 8GB RAM but only if the RAM modules/banks have 16 chips of memory. It doesn't support the newer modules with 8 chips. I tried it!!! I will keep this post updated, in case somebody like my want to do the upgrade.
