The ryzen 3600 supports up to 128Gb of ram, depending on which x670 board you get will determine if you will be able to install 128gb of ram.
Also note that using 4 32Gb sticks to get to 128GB of ram you might have to drop your MHz down below 3000 mhz to have it work.
You may also what to buy a new kit that is 128Gb and not just add 64GB to your existing kit. The combo of mixing kits plus populating all 4 slots might not bode well with the memory controller.

Did I order the wrong memory?
Okay thanks for the clarification and testimony. Based on your experience, I will try ordering another (2) 32G sticks that "match" what I currently have. So I will have (4) 32G sticks in total. I'll let you know what happens! Funny, the product description doesn't say non-ECC, but it's the same product I originally bought so I'll have to assume it's non-ECC.Yes.
You’ve installed ECC registered server RAM, which won’t work. Wrong type, wrong capacity.
You need 4x 32GB non-ECC (or unbuffered ECC RAM) to get 128GB RAM. Non-ECC is preferable.
Edit. I have 4x GSkill Ripjaws 32GB DDR4 3200 CL16 (total 128GB) in my 3900X/B550 TUF Gaming mATX running with no problems, with XMP/DOCP on. Matched kits of 4 sticks weren’t available, so I bought 2 packs of 2x32GB pairs at the same time from the shop.
