Question What is the normal memory usage of MsMpEng.exe?

Just a quick question so I know if I'm in the norm...

The other day I saw it going as high as 200mb and today to 500mb on the Memory tab.
I did some things like the rescheduling and excluding it in windows security.
Using softwares that "detect" problems with it and I didn't find anything wrong, at least they say so.


It now stays below 100mb and rarely rises to ~110mb:

Is that in the norm or do I have to find other solution?

On my system it sits at 450Mb right now with a small amount of I/O so it's doing a background scan I guess,it will go up and down depending on what it's doing.

I don't understand why it keeps eating this much memory. I have 8GB of RAM and I have to maintain high FPS in video games.
It goes as bad as making my PC unresponsive to the point of having to wait minutes to launch something simple like task manager.

My windows is up to date, my security drivers are up to date, at least windows 10 says so.
I tried a clean boot.
I tried turning it off from regedit with the help of CMD, but whatever I do with it, it simply says "you don't have permission" or something similar.
I also disabled the schedule scans in task scheduler.

I don't know what to do. I don't think that raising even above 200MB is normal throughout the day, every day.
