Question What is the other slot in the ssd?

I have already connected the SSD to the SATA cable from the motherboard but there is another slot in the SSD I think connects to the motherboard and I don't know what that is or where it is supposed to be

the smaller one goes to the motherboard and the larger one is a power connection from the psu.

your psu should have a cable with this on it to power the drive.
