What is the power phase design used in MSI Z77A-GD55

looks like and what I count a 9 phase ?? I thought it maybe a crazy 8+2 set up but its not

Great reposnse guys. I'm new to this and im trying to decide between Z77 Extreme4 & MSI Z77A-GD55. Can anyone say which one would be best for overclocking? or which has better power-phase design?

If you're using with an old Ivy Bridge CPU, then I'd do the MSI Z77A-GD55.... if building new box, I have been using / recommending the MSI / Gigabyte Gaming 5 along with the same company's 970

I have a i7 3770k and cant overclock due to z68 overclock limitation with ivy bridge... so rather than buy a new MB and CPU for £500, i was thing buy a z77 and overclock my 3770k

as far as msi to me they been not so good with there bios/flashing these days they seem to have a higher risk of a bad flash [opinion]

looking at newegg all I see to get is that extreme 4 as any choice they offer

it is one of the best selling boards -- your in a tough spot on a z77 there pretty much phased out

Yeah the two boards listed are the only two I can find in the UK

I know you chose best answer but that list is wrong . you can count 9 on that msi board under the sinks ?? it just don't add up also it shows as analog msi says its hybrid digital in there specs.

so I guess someone's lying some how
