What is the Radeon 6980 (Or the 6890) equivalent to?

Basically, What is the Radeon 6980 (or is it the 6890) equivalent to a Nvidia card? Just a quick question... Hopefully it can be answered...

The reason is there is no 6980 noir 6890 .....
