Hello and thank you for reading. Ill try to be brief. I currently have an intel i-5 4590 Lga 1150 and a Gtx 1060 6bg. I was going to make some upgrades this holiday season and was going to go the Mobo/cpu/ram change out before getting a new gpu. However, come spring ill have enough for a GPU upgrade (looking at 2070s)

My question is what chip would be optimal for both gtx 1060 and rtx 2070s? Or should I just get the gpu with my current specs? ($400-$600 budget) It can be intel or amd since i'll be upgrading my motherboard as well. It will be used for gaming.

Thank you for your time, looking forward to everyone's input!

Hopefully by Spring, AMD will have released more Models of GPUs and you will have more options. In terms of "Price"
Any new CPU 6 Core + Models from AMD/Intel should be sufficient.

I'm rocking a Ryzen 2600 6/12 its fine for gaming (Not the fastest) But i only play at 1080P currently.
If you go for X570 motherboard Def look at memory in the 3000-3600mhz range dual channel.

I generally recommend Intel for "ONLY GAMING" But the new 2/3 Gen AMD chips are just great.
