upgraded my cpu cooler to a AR06 from a stock cooler from intel. My idle heat for it is around 40-60 celsius, is this normal? Also when playing a game like CS:GO the heat is on 60-80 celsius, again is this normal.

Which NO that is bad. BTW it isn't just a FAN on the CPU, but HOW do you get that HOT AIR OUT of the CASE itself. No good putting a AR06 or whatever cooler on a CPU if the heat stays STUCK inside the case.
You forgot to mention the rest of your system's specs and if you're on any overclocks not to mention the ambient room temperature since they will all be governing factors and give some reference as to why you're getting those temps.
List your specs as:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
The case would also play a role here since the Silverstone AR06 is more of a low profile, HTPC grade cooler thus those temps may be on par with what that cooler is capable of doing. Oh and one last thing, what were your temps prior t the aftermarket cooler swap?
