Disregard the price. I want to know what is the strongest gpu it can handle.

This is my rig:

i3-2120 w/ Deepcool Gammaxx 300 hsf
ECS H67H2-M3 (V1.0)
2x4gb Kingston 1333mhz
1x500gb 5400rpm hdd
1x1tb 7200rpm hdd
2 led case fans
Corsair VS450 - Orange label (w/ 2x6+2 PCIE, single 12V @ 34A)

Hey,
GTX970.

Your CPU does not use much power, so you have more available to a GPU (via a Molex->6-pin adapter... or that plus another 6-pin into an 8-pin PCIe on card). Many cards come with one.

You should have no issues with a 2x6-pin, or 1x8-pin PCIe card.

A worst-case for one of these cards is about 225W (though typically that's much lower). That gives you over 200W for the rest of the system and I doubt you use much over 100W if even that.

So typical gaming is probably around 300W max.

So again, no issues likely.

bare system using 65W running Prime95.

GTX970 max 197W (further overclock adds a bit more):

So...
worst-case is about 300W if we add in fans.

Math is fun.

Update:
technically you have 408W on the single 12V rail (Graphics, PSU, and fans). Not an issue as again 300W is a worst-case so you aren't even at 75% load.

I generally recommend no more than 75% load to be really safe, and also because the PSU fan usually gets quite loud.
