[SOLVED] What is this? Can't update driver, delete, or have a clue what it is

No clue what this is supposed to be for but can't delete it without it keeping coming back, nor can I update the driver.

Did you download and install all of the motherboard provided drivers/utilities (that are relevant)?

You can try to see if there is a Hardware ID to search like we used to have to do in the pre W7 years...

If this is an Intel based computer you usually need to load the Intel Chipset Driver file and/or the Serial IO Driver file. You should be able to obtain both of those from your motherboard manufacturer's website. If its an AMD based computer go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and look for similar files relating to your chipset.

I kinda did kinda didn't....I installed my chipset drivers right from AMD, lan/wifi drivers from Intel, but did get my sound driver from Asus. I really don't want anything to do with Armory Crate so avoided Asus drivers as much as I can.

I did install my chipset driver right from Amd. I'm trying to avoid Armory Crate so avoiding Asus drivers as much as I can.

installing appropriate drivers is not the same as installing control software like Armoury Crate.
just download driver packages, not the other software provided.

FIXED! Went and installed the Thunderbolt driver and it went away.
