what is this Cooling term?

I'm wondering what CFM stands for. How does it apply to cooling in your computer and does more mean its better? Thanks!

A fan's cfm is the air moved per minute in a fan, which is measured in terms of volume or cubic feet. It is used to determine the air moving capacity that is achieved by a fan depending on the diameter of the blades and shape of the blades.
