What is this 'media server'?

This thing appeared in the my computer- windows explorer. Doesn't open, says, "...denied access to your PC"

What is causing [bringing] this, and is my own devise also appearing on their PC!?
How to prevent this?

Did you buy a new media device like a Roku?

Are you sharing your network with someone else?

Check wireless devices connected, if you don't recognize something, disconnect it manually and change your WiFi password.

No, didn't install any media device. Using Ethernet [LAN]. I selected 'Turn on sharing and connect to devices on this network' while installing the windows recently [today]. Here in the last setting: http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/Win8SetupScreen3,0101-358398-0-2-3-1-png-.html

Few hours later discovered those 'media device' on explorer.
Then tried to disable 'network sharing'..... don't know if worked.

Media Device does not really say much, could be anything really, see if you can see details about it like the IP address or what it actually is. Did you check your wireless settings to see what is connected?

I don't have a wireless setting. After I turned the network sharing off [I guess it turned off], the server devices stopped appearing.
