Question What is this noise?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to also narrow down the source of the noise by taking a sheet of A4 paper, roll it up into a cylinder, holding one end up to your ear. Use the other end to probe for the source the noise.

IMHO, it doesn't sound like clicking. Sounds like a fan blade trying to make a rotation and one of said blades in the fan has broken off. You might want to disconnect the system from the wall and display, then remove the PSU to inspect the PSU without taking it apart.

I can see a Be Quiet! on the rear of the PSU but we'll need a little more info, please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Moved thread from Components section to Systems section.

Can you feel any vibrations on the unit when it happens? Since it sounds mechanical, kind of boils down to the movement of fans. Its like the fan blade is wobbling and after a certain of number of rotations is knocking the bracket.

Thank you!

My specs are as follows,

CPU: 5900X
CPU cooler: NH-D15
Motherboard: Asus TUF x570+ wifi
Ram: 32GB GSkill Ripjaws V
SSD/HDD: WD SN 750 1TB / Barracuda 2TB HDD
GPU: Rog Strix 3070 Ti
PSU: BeQuiet pure power 11 1000Wapprox 4 years old
Chassis: Asus TUF GT501
OS: windows 11
Monitor: Gigabyte G27Q

The ticking doesn’t occur on startup, the longer the computer is on the worse it gets, it plateaus after a few minutes as shown in the video.

I couldn’t quite get an accurate source of the noise other than I’m pretty certain it’s the PSU.
