Hello! I have the MSI A88xm-e45 motherboard with an AMD x4 760k OC'd to 4.7ghz. When I am stress testing my cpu which is liquid cooled I use HWmonitor to check the temps. SO my question is what are TMPIN 0, 1, 2 in HWmonitor?

Solution
As a general rule anything over 90°c is cause for concern. Anything over 100°c is dangerous. The Northbridge chipset has been reported to run as hot as 130°c if not more without failure but that was for an unreported length of time.
The TMPINs are usually the CPU Socket, the Average Motherboard Temperature and the Northbridge Temperature.

Sometimes they are listed in different orders for different Motherboards, however.

You can identify which is which. The System Board Temp is usually coolest, the CPU Socket is usually similar to your coolest CPU Core Temp and the Northbridge often gets quite hot when the system is under load.

When I stress tested, the temps were reading as follows: TMPIN0=52cTMPIN1=60c TMPIN0=52c TMPIN2=40C. Also what is a dangerzone temperature for the Northbridge? Thanks
