What is wrong with my External Hard Disk?

Now this has been happening since the last time i restarted my computer. It was working fine for almost 2 years now and all of a sudden this. Have i possibly lost 700gb+ of data? or can anybody help me to get it working properly again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my USB 3.0 Drivers and Reinstalled my OS too.

Have you tried it on another computer and see if your data is on another one?

Also hard disk drives have moving parts in them and one day it will fail, you said you've had it for about 2 years so It could be a case of the end of it's life but just make sure to test it on a few pcs and if it still says nothing, I'd buy a new one.

What is the "This" that is happening ??? You don't say. Your photos mainly show that the device is installed and recognised. What PRECISELY is the problem.

his disk F: is not showing any size, probably cause its in click of death state.

But yes try it on another machine and listen/feel how it reacts during boot.

Oh before you throw it out. Try taking it out of the external enclosure and plugging it in like a regular hdd
