1) I was so little i dont remmember much of it but i know it was neither amd or intel. I think it was from the 80's and on the keyboard it actualy had a place to insert cartridges for games. and the tower had the 5.25 floppy drives.

UPDATE after looking at pics of some of ur guys sytems i found out that the pc was a TI-99 that i got in around 94 when i was 4.

My personal CPU history:

1. 10 MHz 80286 in an IBM PS/1. Ran it from 1990 until around 1997, put it in a closet, gave it away in 2005.
2. 50 MHz Intel 80486SX2 in an IBM PS/2. Got it used, ran it from about '95 to 2005, then gave it away. Kicked myself for also giving away its original Model M keyboard.
3. 500 MHz K6-2 in a Compaq Presario 7360. Ran it from late 1998 to 2005, also gave it away.
4. 1.8 GHz P4 Willy in an HP Pavilion. Got it in late 2001 with XP RTM. This one still is running at my folks' place. The unit was not my choice of CPU- I'd have picked a Tualatin or Athlon XP and built it myself.
5. 2.2 GHz P4-M Northwood in a Gateway 600 laptop bought late 2002. P4 heat finally killed it in July.
6. Athlon 64 4200+ Manchester in a custom machine built in very early 2006. Still running like a champ.
7. Core 2 Duo U7500 in a Gateway S-7125C bought in August to replace the old dead 600.

The 64K and then the 128K ATARI had a homemade CB with 1MB of ram (hooked to srl connector as a RAM Drive),an IBM HD controler,a 40MB IBM HD,spcl controler chips in the four 5 1/4" soft-floppy drives....and a 2400 BAUD modum (last modum I used).
From 1980 to early 1984 it ran the largest/swiftest BBS on the planet!
It would run all software (with emulation OS) for Atari/Commi-door and IBM.

Some of these early ones were ones I shared with my brothers.

286, 386, 486DX 33, 486DX 100, P120, P266, K6-2 (don't remember the speed), Celeron 700, P3-500, Athlon 950, Sempron 2800+, Athlon 3500+

Notable things. I actually upgraded the 286 to the 386. (ok, with my dads help...) I did add the new 80MB drive to it myself. Not bad for an ~8yo. I got the 486DX100 chip when I was working at the local college. They were throwing them out and I still had the old 486, so I said why not. I was upset with my mom because she wouldn't wait the few weeks to get the P133MHz. I wanted it because it would have MMX, and the 120 wouldn't. The Celeron was the first one I got after I moved out from my parents house. The Celeron and the P3-500 were actually fairly close in performance. The only reason why I used the slot P3 instead of the Celeron was because the Celeron motherboard had no AGP slot, so game playing was better on the P3. Both the Sempron and the Athlon systems are currently being used.

For those of you listing a bunch of chips, didn't anyone ever use the Osborn? My dad used one, I'll always remember the sewing machine computer.
