What kind of car do you drive?

Seems only fair...the earth is trying to kill US every day.

I won't share the actual license plate, but it shares a similar sentiment.

The difference though is that the Earth doesn't need us in order to survive... can't really say the same thing the other way around, soooo....

I used to have an Insight. Drove it until I had over 300K on it and then finally had to let it go. Lost my job and the battery and battery control module needed to be replaced. It also had developed an oil leak. No complaints as I definitely got my moneys worth out of it. Used it as a commuter car for my then 130 mile a day, round-trip, commute. Great little ride and there are times when I really miss it. It was great how the battery charged as you drove which meant never having to plug it in.

Currently driving a 2003 Mazda Protoge 5 and when I can my 1997 Jeep Wrangler SE. I say when I can because I won't drive it much until I get new tires (33 x 12.50 R15). My first Jeep and I'm loving it. Had a Suzuki Samurai years ago and it was a fun drive too.

I have a 2011 Ford Focus sedan in "flame blue metallic". It's a base, S model, so it has crank windows which is nice here in the frozen North (Ohio). Less stuff to break. It gets 39 mpg highway when loaded down.

It does not have the SYNC package, but it does have an AUX input so I just connect my smart phone to it for music, podcasts, Waze, etc..

2003 VW Jetta. 180k miles. I got it as a gift after graduating high school. It's been a good car, but slowly everything is falling apart. Currently looking to get some kind of grand cherokee.. the newer ones are terrible IMO, trying to be a luxury SUV when they're not (yet still have the $ tag as one).

I am a vw fan, but yeah, they do tend to fall apart... (curious which one, GL, GLI, GLX,GLS,TDI?). Why not a look at the Tiguan (start at 25) or wait for the T-Roc to come out???

my friends have a 2015 grand cherokee, loaded but with the v6,, it's a very nice car and nothing has broken on it yet, very nice interior but very slow.

I had a '96 Grand Cherokee.
Very disappointed.

It was great offroad and in the snow. As a regular driver? Not so much.

Limited carrying space, as in...hard to fit a bicycle inside.
Crappy mileage
Ate front tires like a fat kid on a cake.

Of course, that was 20 years ago. But I'd be hard pressed to buy another.
