what kind of cmos battery to use?

What kind of cmos battery to i buy, can i just go to the super market and buy a cmos bettery(some that go into a tv remote, flat ones) or is there a specific one?
A thing that i forgot to say was that the motherboard is second-hand and the original cmos bettery is missing. (Motherboard: H61M-P22 B3)

Look at your motherboard. All motherboards that I have seen in the past 20+ years use CR2032 (20mm diameter x 3.2mm thick) cells.

Lots of laptops have a different arrangement. Rather than a clip type thing that a CR2032 snaps into ... the battery comes covered in a shrink-tube type plastic with a pig-tail coming off it and a connector at the end. This whole little assembly is replaced rather than just the battery so if you have a laptop - check a manual.

All of the laptops that I have personally opened up use a small button-style rechargeable cell with spot-welded tabs soldered directly to the motherboard or a small ultracap.
