Question What kind of Fan and RGB Hub should I choose for 9 Corsair Fans?

Hello, I recently bought 3 packs of Triple AR120 RGB Corsair Fans
However, I have the PRO A620M-E this means that I only have 3 Fan headers so I will need to get a Fan and RGB Hub.
I was thinking of getting the ICUE Commander XT, however, it costs £60 and only supports 6 fans and RGB, which means that I'd have to buy 2 ( £120 )
Is there any cheaper but still reliable alternatives that I could be recommended?

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7600X
GPU: RX 7600
RAM: 32GB 6000MHz underclocked to 5200MHz
SSD: 2TB 7000MB/s
Motherboard: MSI PRO A620M-E
Case: H5 Flow upgrading to H6 Flow soon
AIO: 240mm ID-Cooling Black
PSU: RM1000e Corsair

Reason for 9 fans:
I wanted to have the 9 fans since it would fill up all of the slots within the case, it would also allow for better airflow since the computer case will be backed against a wall so the back panel and the back of the case will directly face a wall, this is the reason that I chose the H6 Flow rather than the H9 Flow due to the angled intake fans. I was planning on making the fans at the bottom be intake as well as the angled ones.

I will also upgrade my AIO to a better one seeing as mine may be defective seeing that my friend who has the same cooler and CPU gets temperatures that are 20C lower, likely the Kraken 360 along a CPU upgrade to a 7800x3D

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Make and model case? PSU? Disk drive(s)?

That said - what is driving the requirement for 9 fans?

What problem or problems are occurring?

Consider that 9 fans (especially if not correctly installed and/or configured) might not make a difference and could even be counterproductive.

Very understandable that you want to save some of that £120.

You may not need to spend anything.

Update your post and include a two or three photographs showing the case and exisiting fans and airflows.

Post the photographs here via imgur (www.imgur.com).

There may be other options.

A couple of things you can try for a small cost reduction.

The iCUE Commander Core XT unit is really two Hubs in one box. One part is a fan MOTOR Hub with six output ports. The other is a similar fan LIGHTS Hub with six other ports. It is NOT stated in the specs, but MOST such systems actually can power and control extra devices from each port type as long as you don't try too may devices on one port. For that you need SPLITTERS to connect two or more devices to ONE output port of the Commander Core XT unit. Splitters for motors and for lighting are different.

The complication here comes in the fact that Corsair uses nonstandard connectors, so you cannot get standard Splitters for motors and lights and use them with the connectors on your Corsair Hub and fans. Corsair DOES sell their own Splitters for fan MOTORS, like this

https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/p/cus...-fan-splitter-cables-three-pack-cx-9070003-ww

and these normally are sold in packs of three. So with three of those you could connect three PAIRS of fan MOTORS to three output ports of your Commander Core XT unit. For most such systems, TWO fan motors on ONE header is acceptable.

Corsair does NOT show any comparable Splitters for fan LIGHTS on its web pages. However they DO sell a separate box called their Corsair RGB LED Fan Hub

https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/p/cus...-fan-splitter-cables-three-pack-cx-9070003-ww

and it plugs into the "RGB" socket on your Commander Core XT unit to get the lighting control signals for more fans. Using this would allow you to connect three more fans' LIGHTS to the SAME control signals as the first six so they all work the same. This box sells for about half what a Commander Core XT unit costs.

That would get you nine fans connected together (motors and lights) and all working exactly the same. NOTE that, if you used two Commander Core XT units instead as you proposed, you would have to ensure BOTH were programmed to do the same thing to "synchronize" them all, and even then the timing might not match. This arrangement would cost slightly less - save on the RGB LED Fan Hub versus a second Commander Core XT, but add the cost of the motor Splitter three-pack. It may do a better job of synchronizing your displays.

To be SURE, contact Corsair Tech Support to verify these units can be used together AND that it is OK to connect TWO motors each to THREE output ports of the Commander Core XT.

Can you post a pic of your space?
A cheaper alternative would be to cut back on the number of case fans. 3 intakes in front and one at the rear should be sufficient. And quieter.
Your parts are not unusually hot.
A 240 aio is about as effective as a much cheaper twin tower air cooler

You need a little room to let hot air exit the case.
Normally, you can have 4" between the back of the case and the wall.
That is sufficient.
