[SOLVED] What kind of partition is safe to delete?

Solution
none of the partitions in your posted pick is safe to delete. they are needed by the system to boot and run correctly.

basic rule of thumb is, if you did not create it yourself, then don't delete it!! those oem recovery partitions can be deleted if you wish but again, once gone, you won't get it back no matter how badly you want it to happen.

easiest way is to do a fresh windows install and format the drive completely, removing EVERY partition. windows will put back what it needs and anything else is just gone. probably the safest way to go about it if you insist on it. never hurts to do a fresh install :)

if you have an OEM recovery partition, then you can delete it but then you lose the ability to do the factory reset on the system. this is not advised for the average user since it is the easiest way to restore the system if there is a problem.

but you do have to be sure it is what you think it is. once you delete it, the data is gone and no amount of "please help i really really need that partition back" is going to save you if you brick the system and make it un-bootable.

if it ain't broke don't try to fix it!!!! the little bit of space you might get is not worth the trouble really. get a new hdd if you need more space. or start deleting some of the other stuff you don't need.
