So, i purchased an Asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 , along with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Box, and the motherboard manual got me a little confused. I think my cpu belongs to the pinnacle ridge family. I dont know what kind of ram would be suitable for my system and im still an amateur in building. Any suggestions for a 16gig kit?

Solution
Pinnacle ridge is just a category that specifies the Zen+ generation of AMD chips. This is not really important in terms of compatibility information.

What is important is the socket type, and the 2600's socket is AM4. Your motherboard is compatible with any current AMD CPU that is AM4 compatible. And for RAM, your motherboard is compatible with ram that is DDR4.

A ram kit like this would be more than sufficient for you:
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-2x16GB-3200MHz-Memory-CMK32GX4M2B3200C16/dp/B0143UM4TC?th=1

You don't need to get this kit exactly, but the specs are what you should look for.
