I recently bought a ASUS ROG G751JY-WH71(WX) laptop and being coupled with a 128gb ssd and a 1tb hdd i find myself both loathing the speed of the hdd and hearing it spin so i wish to upgrade to two ssd's.
First Dilemma is that i hear there are many m.2 ssd's that are not compatible with certain motherboards and such. All i know is that the laptop only supports Pcie m.2 so not sata 3. I'm looking for 256-512gb sizes possibly 1tb if fairly priced.
Second would it be a waste to use my sata 3 128gb ssd as a boot and use the m.2 as storage, it's just that i don't really want a large capacity ssd as boot with a smaller ssd for storage.
