What memory for Ryzen + Crosshair hero??

Hello!

Im building a new Ryzen system.
Im undecided what memory to buy that would offer the highest cpu overclock potential? (Planning on using air first, then upgrade to liquid later) would it be better to have something high frequency like
Corsair 16 gigabytes KIT DDR4 DRAM Vengeance 3200MHz CL16
Or something low latency like
Kingston 16GB KIT DDR4 2400MHz CL12 HyperX Savage Black
Or some other ones that you suggest?

At first i wanted go high frequency as crosshair hero supports very high freq even higher than 3200... but then i saw that the world record with LN2 on the crosshair was set with a CL13 2400 ram so that made me think ! ..
Whats the best? I really want to make the best choice as I will be buying another identical 16gb set later on ....

I would go for the higher speed ram. It's pretty early to say what ram really will work on what motherboard,might want to look at the QVL list for that,this is mentioned in the manual,look at the online one since that gets updated.

For that record they probably used low speed ram to not make it a limiting factor.To leave the memory controller at ease.

Adding ram even when the same might give issues,look at "Just Add More Dram" in the next link,

just to mentione it,if you have the funds get the biggest amount you can get if needing alot.

before you boot on your build, update bios with USB. Use a samsung B-die based memory kit to push ram speeds higher, http://www.overclock.net/t/1624603/rog-crosshair-vi-overclocking-thread check this thread, and find the list of ram people actually got a higher speed on, anything samsung B die based and you are good
