Hi guys!
I have:
- M4N68T-M LE (AM3)
- AMD Phenom II X4 925 Processor Socket AM3
- 2 x 2gb DDR3 PC3-10700 (667 MHz)

I want to upgrade my RAM up to 8gb (2x4gb), but in the ASUS specifications it says:
"*AMD AM3 100 and 200 series CPU support up to DDR3 1066MHz "

What does this means?

I already tried to put Kingston 2x 4gb Ddr3 1600 Mhz but my system did not boot.

PLEASE HELP.
Thank you!
F.

Good 1333mhz ram is probably better since the memory controller on that cpu isn't great. Try to look at something with a nice low cas latency, but don't let that make it too expensive.

You can do a clear cmos by moving a jumper (or shorting two pins) for about 5sec. at the motherboard, which one can be found in the manual. Other option is taking the motherboard battery of the motherboard fro about 5min. then put it back.
If you have the 1600mhz still do a clear cms and try again.Other option is set speed and timings manually, try 1333 (or 667=>x2) with timings of 9-9-9-27 with a voltage of 1.5v,see if that will work.
What is the partnr of the ram you tried? The 1600mhz from Kingston.

Hey, thank you! I returned them because I panicked! But I can get them again. How do I do a clear cms?
