[SOLVED] What "metered connection" do

I'm trying to reduce and turn off Windows 10 system parts internet usage, I did set metered connection as 1MB limit monthly, this does anything in terms of reducing system components network/internet usage? We have other electronics in house that uses same connection and because of Windows 10 system components such as Windows Update and MANY others keep destroying my download/upload speed other devices keep getting stuck on screen or freezing up. I already turned off WUpdate from gpedit.msc and still restarts itself and I'm unable to delete update task from task shedular it says ı do not have permission even though this is a pro version and I'm the administrator.

What does "metered connection" do?

it will disable data up\download when it hits the 1GB data limit.
it will not limit bandwidth usage before that point.

just turn off the computer or disable it's LAN & wifi when you need to use other devices if your bandwidth can't handle multiple devices sharing.
or get a better internet plan from your ISP.
